Programs for Inservice Secondary STEM Teachers

In addition to teacher preparation programs, IDoTeach supports secondary teachers working in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics classrooms.

 

modal_logoModeling and Data Analysis Literacy (MoDAL) is a professional development project for secondary mathematics teachers in Idaho. It includes a summer institute during June 20th-23rd, 2016 with 89 teachers, followed by classroom teaching during the 2016-2017 academic year.

The project is led by IDoTeach faculty Michele Carney, Joe Champion, and Tatia Totorica, with support from IDoTeach student Jason May and local mathematics teacher leaders.
